Rev. Dennis E. Thomas
CHAIRMAN OF THE BOARD - Rev. Dennis E. Thomas is the Pastor of First Corinthian Baptist Church in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He earned a Master of Divinity Degree from Eastern Baptist Theological Seminary and a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Eastern College. He presently serves as the Regional Vice President for the Lott Carey Baptist Foreign Mission Convention and formerly a professor at Richmond Virginia Seminary Board Additionally, Pastor Thomas is the former Pastor of First African Baptist Church in Richmond, Virginia and the Former Pastor of Kaighn Avenue Baptist Church in Camden, New Jersey.

Rev. Ernesto A. Barrett, Sr.
PRESIDENT & FOUNDER - Rev. Ernesto A. Barrett, Sr. is currently working as a Compliance Supervisor for the Pennsylvania Human Relations Commission. He earned a Bible Diploma from Philadelphia College of Bible, a Master of Social Work-Administration Degree from Rutgers University, and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in History from Morgan State University. He is the former Director of Suburban Bible Institute of Camden, New Jersey and a retired Lieutenant Colonel of the United States Army Reserves. Rev. Barrett presently serves as the Senior Associate Minister and Sunday School Teacher for First Corinthian Baptist Church in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Additionally, he is a proud member of Iota Phi Theta Fraternity, Inc.

Shirlena M. Anthony
BOARD MEMBER - Shirlena M. Anthony is currently working as a Teacher at the Weeping Willow Day School and has worked over fifteen years as an educator for the School District of Philadelphia. She has earned a Master of Arts Degree in Educational Administration from Cheyney University, a Master of Arts Degree in Elementary Education from West Chester University, and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Elementary Education from Cheyney University. Shirlena presently serves as the Director of the Literacy Program for the First Corinthian Community Center and a Sunday School Teacher for First Corinthian Baptist Church in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Latanya S. Barrett
BOARD MEMBER - Latanya S. Barrett is currently working as a Teacher at Trenton Community Charter School, and previous to this tenure, she also taught in Harlem for the New York City Department of Education as a corps member of Teach For America. She earned a Master of Science Degree in Elementary Education from Pace University and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Africana Studies from Rutgers University. Latanya presently serves as an Intermediate Usher at First Corinthian Baptist Church in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Additionally, she serves as a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.

Olivia Barrett
BOARD MEMBER - Olivia Barrett is currently working as an Executive Secretary for the Department of Public Welfare for the Philadelphia County Assistance Office. She received a Degree in Business Administration/ Secretarial Work from Berean Institute and also attended Pierce Junior College. Olivia serves as a Deaconess for First Corinthian Baptist Church in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Charles F. Brown
BOARD MEMBER -Charles F. Brown is currently a State and Local Program Manager for the United States Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. He attended University of West Los Angeles School of Law and Morgan State University where he earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in History. Charles currently serves as a Trustee at Canaan Baptist Church in Wilmington, Delaware. Additionally, he serves as a proud member of Iota Phi Theta Fraternity, Inc.

Bernard S. Curtis
BOARD MEMBER - Bernard Curtis is currently working as the Owner and Overseer for B Curtis Home Improvements Company. He attended Norfolk State University where he studied Commercial Art and Fine Arts Education. He presently serves as a Deacon at First Corinthian Baptist Church in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Wanda B. Jenkins
BOARD MEMBER - Wanda is currently working as a Senior Staff Consultant-EEO for the Office of Ethics and Compliance EEO for Verizon Communications Inc. She is working toward a Masters Degree in Organizational Psychology and Development at St. Joseph University and has earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Communications from Drexel University. Wanda presently is in the Christian Education Ministry at First Corinthian Baptist Church in Philadelphia, Pennslyvania as a Sunday School Teacher.

Pinkey M. Lucas
BOARD MEMBER - Pinkey M. Lucas is currently working as a Federal Investigator for the United States Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. She has earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology from St. Joseph University. Pinkey presently serves as a Sunday School Teacher and member of the Tape Ministry for First Corinthian Baptist Church in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Terrell D. McCray
BOARD MEMBER - Terrell D. McCray is currently working as a Record Keeping Universal Associate for The Vanguard Group. Terrell is the Founder and Executive Director of Program WATCH that seeks to work with inner city male youth to develop them into socially conscious and productive citizens. He earned his Associates Degree in Business Administration from the University of Delaware and presently serves as an Associate Minister at First Corinthian Baptist Church in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Rev. Dr. Albert R. Reddick
BOARD MEMBER - Rev. Dr. Albert R. Reddick is currently working as a Human Relations Representative for the Pennsylvania Human Relations Commission. He earned a Doctorate Degree from Eastern Baptist Theological Seminary, a Juris Doctor Degree from North Carolina Central University School of Law, a Master of Science Degree in Political Science from North Carolina Central University, and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Political Science/History from North Carolina Central University, Rev. Dr. Reddick is the author of
"The I and I Model for Overcoming Racism (In An Age of Diversity): Individual and Institutional Model for Overcoming Racism". He presently serves as the Associate Pastor at Salem Baptist Church in Jenkintown, Pennsylvania.
About Our Programs
What We Offer
We offer a four-year course for which, upon completion, the student is given the Faith Bible Institute (FBI) Diploma.
Our School endeavors, with God’s help, to provide a basic and sound grounding in the Scriptures, Christian doctrine, and related subjects in order to enable the student to serve the Lord Jesus more competently and effectively. Graduates of FBI confidently perform a variety of Christian service ministries in their local churches, in community organizations, and in numerous evangelistic and missionary outreaches.
